MICHAEL A. KUHN, ESQ. Attorney Michael Kuhn is a proud graduate of both West Virginia University (Master of Social Work) and the University of Pittsburgh (Juris Doctorate). Michael brings many unique experiences to the practice of law. Blue collar at heart, Michael worked underground a as a coal miner before he returned to school to obtain his bachelor’s degree. Prior to graduating law school, Michael worked extensively in the areas of child abuse and neglect as a social worker. He worked as a child protective service worker and supervisor, a child forensic interviewer, and therapist. Recognizing a lifelong dream, Michael obtained his law school education in the city of Pittsburgh at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Attending Pitt Michael had multiple opportunities to experience and observe the practice of law at many of the country’s largest firms. Prior to opening his own firm Michael was privileged to work at an aggressive litigation firm where he practiced in cities throughout the Mountain State to include some of the largest: Charleston, Huntington and Martinsburg. Michael made the difficult decision to open his own practice to focus primarily on local clients and local issues. Michael uses the skills learned in the cities and courtrooms across the state to help clients here in the Northern Panhandle.
